Ground based grappling arts and self defense systems.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling based martial art made famous in the United States by the Gracie Family and the first UFC events. BJJ has both self defense and sport aspects with the focus on ground grappling control, chokes, and joint lock submissions.

Guest Instructors:

    Our most notable guest instructor is Adriano Lucio. Adriano is a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu. He visits us from Brazil a few times every year.

We offer the following JiuJitsu classes:

Foundation BJJ
The best JiuJitsu is deeply rooted in the fundamentals. Our Foundation BJJ class places a consistent focus on the fundamentals. All belt levels are welcome and encouraged to attend Foundation BJJ.
Typical class includes: warm up, technique instruction, drills, and rolls

Advanced BJJ
Our Advanced BJJ class is for blue belts and above.

Drilling
Come prepared to work on technique! During Drilling class, you will drill, drill, and drill some more. This is a great time to fine tune your technique, and get specific feedback and instructor guidance. All belt levels are welcome and encouraged to attend Drilling class. You can participate in Gi or NoGi.
Typical class includes: situational drilling

Competition Class
Competition class will help you take your JiuJitsu to the next level. This class is non-stop from start to finish, with lots of drilling and rolling. White belts with some experience, and all other belts are welcome and encouraged to attend Competition class. Depending on the time of year, and upcoming tournament structure, Competition Class will be structured around either Gi or NoGi.

White Belt BJJ
Our White Belt Class focuses on the techniques critical for white belts to master. All white belts are encouraged to attend.

Open Mat
Open mat sessions are open to all gyms and all skill levels. During Open Mat, you can train Gi or NoGi.
